Commerce
The money side of the booking, commission-free.
Deposits that hold the table, a bill the guest settles from their phone, and demand-based pricing your team approves — one commerce layer, on the venue’s own payment rails.

The economics
No marketplace. No per-cover fee. The deposit is yours, in full.
Every other booking layer takes a cut of the table or steers your guest somewhere else. RAYN charges a flat subscription and settles on the rails you already run — so the money the guest commits is the money that lands in your account.

Smart Deposits
A booking with money behind it.
Deposits, minimum spends and packages taken inside the booking flow — commission-free, on the venue’s own payment rails. A commitment the guest chooses and honours, and arrival certainty for the floor.
- Deposits, minimum spends and packagesSet the rule per venue, zone or night; the guest commits before the table is held.
- Commission-freeA flat subscription with no per-cover cut — the deposit is the venue’s, in full.
- Taken in the flowCaptured inside the same booking the guest is already completing, not chased afterwards.

Pay at Table
Settle without waiting for the bill.
The guest pays, and splits, from their phone — no flagging a server, no waiting for the machine. The last five minutes of the visit stop being the worst five.
- Split across the groupEach guest pays their share from their own phone, evenly or by item.
- On the venue’s payment systemRuns on the rails the venue already uses; the money lands where it always did.
- One guest recordThe spend joins the same guest history the concierge and host station already read.

03
Demand-based pricing
Price the table to the demand — your team approves.
The window seat on a Friday is not the corner two on a Tuesday. RAYN reads demand by seat, zone and slot and proposes a minimum-spend or price move with the evidence behind it. Nothing changes until a person approves it — evidence-led yield, not a machine flipping prices.
- Proposed, with the evidenceEach move comes with the demand, yield and leakage that justify it — no black-box price change.
- Approved by a humanA proposal applies only when the operator releases it; the venue keeps the pen.
- By seat, zone and slotThe terrace on a sunset Friday and the booth on a birthday priced for what they are, not the average.

One layer
Deposit, pre-order, split and settle — one record, your rails.
The deposit at booking, the pre-order before arrival, the split at the table and the settle at the end are the same commerce layer — tied to one guest record and one booking, running on the payment provider your floor already trusts. Nothing to rip out.

Questions
RAYN Commerce, answered.
Does RAYN take a percentage of deposits or spend?
No. Smart Deposits, minimum spends, packages and Pay at Table all run on a flat subscription with no per-cover commission, on the venue’s own payment rails. The deposit and the spend are the venue’s, in full.
How is the demand-based pricing decided?
RAYN reads demand by seat, zone and slot and proposes a minimum-spend or price move with the evidence behind it. It is approval-gated: nothing applies until a person on the venue’s team releases it. It is evidence-led yield, not an algorithm changing prices on its own.
Which payment system does it run on?
Your own. RAYN sits in front of the venue’s existing payment provider — deposits, pre-orders and Pay at Table settle through the rails you already use, so the money lands exactly where it always did.
Can a group order and pay before arrival?
Yes. A group can pre-order and commit spend before the visit, and settle or split the bill from their phones at the table — all tied back to one guest record and one booking.
